All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 14 Feb 2005 Glenn, Earl 'Buster' A service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo for Earl "Buster" Glenn, 79, Altus, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. The Rev. Randy Lewis will officiate. VFW Post No 3916 will conduct a graveside service. The son of William Joseph and Zula (Addison) Glenn, he was born Friday, Jan. 8, 1926, in Blue. Glenn was a former Durant resident, of the Baptist faith, served in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific, was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, taught school in Blue, was a salesman, owned a boat dealership in Dallas, Texas, played semi-pro baseball and umpired baseball. Preceding him in death were his parents and his siblings. Survivors include son David Glenn, Arden, N.C., daughters Lisa Ormsby, Longview, Texas, and Laurel Tooley, Richardson, Texas, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family hour is 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
