Tuesday, August 19, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Laudiselle Grace, 88 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Laudiselle Grace, 88, Durant, who died today at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. =========== Wednesday, August 20, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Laudiselle Mae Grace, 88 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Armstrong Baptist Church for Laudiselle Mae (Delashaw) Grace, 88, Armstrong, who died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at the Medical Center of Southeastern, Oklahoma. The Rev. Ronnie Harris will officiate. She was born Sunday, Aug. 1, 1915, in Ivanhoe, Texas, to Joseph E. and Maggie P. (Aldridge) Delashaw. She married Charles Dewey Grace Jan. 12, 1940, in Achille. She was a member of the Armstrong Baptist Church, Eastern Star and the Armstrong Home Demonstration Club. She loved to play the piano, camping with her family and playing dominoes. She played the piano for the ‘Gospel Grannies,’ sang in the church choir and was WMU director. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on April 19, 2003; seven brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her sons Charles H. Grace and wife Wanda, Bokchito, Dewey D Grace, Caney; daughters Margaret Lloyd and husband Steve, Las Vegas, Nev., Wanda N Hale and husband Freddie, Armstrong; grandchildren Richard Grace, Bellevue, Wash., Charles C Grace, Caddo, Doug Grace, Bokchito, Scott and Devin Lloyd, both of Las Vegas, Vickie Russell, Durant, LaVonda Short, Pottsboro, Texas; great-grandchildren Cameron, Tanner and Charlsie Grace, all of Caddo, Ethan an Ashley Short, Pottsboro, Carley and Caitlyn Lloyd, both of Las Vegas, Taylor Russell, Patrick and Rebecca Sutherland, all of Durant, and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery, Achille, with pallbearers Ronnie Delashaw, Tommy Delashaw, Kevin Delashaw, Robert Delashaw, Eddie Delashaw, Larry Delashaw and Mickey Delashaw. Family hour is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
