Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Chapel of the Chimes in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: Donations may be given in Lora's name to a charity of choice. Lora was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was born June 7, 1921, in Durant, Okla., and was very proud of her Oklahoma heritage. Lora married her husband during World War II. She retired from the Food and Drug Administration as a medical librarian. Lora loved people and enjoyed walking. She loved her husband and family the most; they were everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank The Fountains of Hulen for love and support of the Cookie Monster. Lora was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Gyarfas, M.D., and brother, Sam Sorrell. Survivors: Son, William J. Gyarfas and wife, Mary; granddaughter, Christina Bartha and husband, Laszlo; grandson, Billy Gyarfas; and niece, Jean Hurley.
