Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Ricky Griffin, pastor of First Baptist Church of Sanford, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Mr. Hiberd was a veteran of the Army. He was a car salesman. Survivors include his wife, Tammy; two sons, Jeremy Hiberd of Colbert, Okla., and Christopher Hiberd of Oklahoma; two daughters, Jeri Daun Hiberd of Destin, Fla., and Jessica Hiberd of Borger; his parents, James and Linda Hiberd of Amarillo; a brother, Tony Hiberd of Batesville, Ark.; and three sisters, Kathy Dennis of Denison, and Vita Ortega and Deedrea Vargas, both of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101. Amarillo Globe-News, June 25, 2002
