Durant Daily Democrat Sunday, December 14, 2003 Dwain Hiberd, 73 A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Moore Chapel, Denison, Texas, for Dwain Hiberd, 73, Denison, who died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at his residence. The Rev. Wendy Lambert will officiate. He was born July 21, 1930, in Blue, to C.O. and Jewel Sloan Hiberd. He attended Durant schools. He married Betty Adams Jan. 13, 1951, in Durant. He retired from the grocery business after 43 years at Piggly-Wiggly. He was very proud of his Choctaw Indian Heritage. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Helen Croley and Ruby Branscome. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with pallbearers Ronnie Wines, David Massey, Ronnie Westberry, Gary Allenbaugh, Don Herron and J.R. Croley.
