All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Gethsemane Cemetery--Caddo OK Durant Daily Democrat - 15 Oct 2004 Jimmie Lee Hokett, 75 A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Coffey-Murray Funeral Chapel for Jimmie Lee Hokett, 75, Durant, who died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at the Oakridge Manor Nursing Center. Revs. Anthony Williams and Lee Peevyhouse will officiate. She was born Friday, Sept. 5, 1929, in Coleman to J. W. and Gracie Susanne (McDaniel) Hockett. She worked as a medication aid and was a member of the Baptist faith. She loved to go shopping, work puzzle books and listen to country and western music. She loved traveling, but most of all she loved being with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Hokett, and sisters Evelyn Rackley and Foyie Webb. She is survived by her sisters Jewell Hokett, Durant, Dorothy Piper and husband Fred, Kenefic, Cora Sweeten, Durant, Christine Harvey, Durant; nephews Herman Harmon and wife Kathy, Waverly, Texas, Roy Harmon and wife Zona, Collinsville, Texas, Mike Harmon, Collinsville, Dewaine Webb and wife Donna, Bonham, Texas, Alton Rackley, Irving, Texas, Gerald Sweeten and wife Regina, Durant, Craig Sweeten and friend Angela, Calera, Paul Hockett and wife Mary Lynn, Brownfield, Texas, Rick Hokett, Dallas, Texas; Sue Gilmore and Greg Buchanan, Allen, Texas, Sandra Leason, Victoria, Texas, Marie Burris and husband Ted, Gober, Texas, Barbara Rackley, Durant, Peggy Sweeten, Durant; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Caddo, with pallbearers Roy Harmon, Dewaine Webb, Gerald Sweeten, Craig Sweeten, Steven Harmon and Kenneth Harmon.
