Wednesday, September 17, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Jesse Hull, 75 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Jesse Hull, 75, Durant, who died today at Oakridge Nursing Center, Durant. ============ Wednesday, September 24, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Jesse Vernon Hull Jesse Vernon Hull, son of the late Jesse Carroll and Ellen (Barber) Hull, was born February 19, 1928 in Waynoka, Oklahoma, and passed away early Wednesday morning, September 17, 2003 in Durant, Oklahoma where he made his home for the last 4 years, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 28 days. Jesse attended Walnut Grove school before graduating from Waynoka High School. After his graduation, he enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard. He was called to active duty and served 2 years in Korea during the Korean Conflict. After his service in the Army, he attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with a B. S. degree in Chemistry and Physics in May, 1957. He was united in marriage to Susann Harth on February 27, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Henry Ferrell Hull and Kimberly Ann (Hull) Ward. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jesse taught school in Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, and California before retiring in June 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ellen Hull, a sister, Crystal Burt, and a brother, Winston. A service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church in Waynoka, Oklahoma, Pastor Marvin Stuckey officiating. Masonic services were provided by Waynoka Lodge No. 422.
