Graveside services will be held for Lillian HAMILTON, 82, of Calera Friday, 
June 5 at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera.  The Rev. Cecil MCGEEHEE will 
officiate.  Mrs. HAMILTON a resident of Calera, died Wednesday, July 3, 1996 
at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant.

The daughter of James and Sydney BOWLES PEARCE, she was born Sunday, March 
1, 1914 in Wapanucka, Johnston, OK.

She married Andrew S. HAMILTON on Sept. 23, 1933 in Calera.  She was a 
homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Calera.  Her one true 
joy was raising her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1965, a son Sidney 
Eugene in 1944; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Hamilton in 1993.

Survivors include sons, Phil D. HAMILTON and wife Eula of Mesquite, TX; Fred 
HAMILTON of Calera; brother Frank PEARCE of Whitney, TX; a sister Pauline 
MOODY of Calera; granddaughter Rozanne MONI and her husband Gary of 
Mesquite, TX; grandson Boyd HAMILTON and his wife,Cheryl of Sherman, TX; a 
great granddaughter, Andrea LAWRENCE of Mesquite, TX and a great grandson, 
Conner HAMILTON of Sherman, TX

Murray Funeral Home  is in charge of arrangements.
