All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 29 Jan 2005 Janice Ann Hart, 60 Services for Janice Ann Hart, 60, Durant, who passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at her residence, will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., at Faith Lutheran Church. Pastor Gary Jorgenson will officiate. Janice was born January 21, 1945, in Pratt, Kansas, to Willard Bruce Ohley and Barnita Jane (Brodnix) Ohley. She attended school in Arkansas City, Kansas. Janice married Jack Hart September 11, 1988, in Reno, Nevada. They moved to the Durant area in 1994, coming from Pheonix, Arizona, by way of McKinney, Texas. Janice worked in health care since high school, and she was a building manager for a doctor's clinic in Allen, Texas. When she moved to the area, she worked as a pink lady at MCSO. Janice enjoyed sewing and making baby blankets for her grandchileren and Christmas stockings for the family. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and she will be greatly missed. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Barnita Ohley. Survivors include her husband, Jack Hart of the home; son Kevin Smith and wife Jennifer, Austin, Texas; daughter Kelley Andrews and husband Bill of McKinney; stepdaughter Jackie McCracken and husband Todd of McKinney; stepdaughter Brenda Vann of Euless, Texas; stepdaughter Katy Hart of Hurst, Texas; brother Dean Ohley and wife Joyce of Muskogee; grandchildren Austin Smith, Cameron Smith, Amber Andrews, Kyle Andrews, Hannah Andrews, Andrew McCracken, Casey McCracken, Brittney McCracken and Nataleigh Vann; and one niece and one nephew. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery with Jack Harper, Don Parker, Cecil Robinson, Charles Allen, Todd McCracken and Stan Swan serving as pallbearers. There is not a family hour scheduled, however, the funeral home will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. tonight for visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family at brownsfs@sbcglobal.net.
