Durant Daily Democrat Wednesday, March 3, 2004 Mattie Jobe, 90 Services are pending with Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home for Mattie Jobe, Durant, who died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant. =========== Durant Daily Democrat Thursday, March 4, 2004 Mattie Jobe, 90 A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera for Mattie Jobe, 90, Calera, who died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant. The Rev. Leon Haas. The daughter of Wylie Zeph and Cora Ann (Burris) Moore, she was born Sunday, July 13, 1913, in Desdemona, Texas. She moved to Oklahoma in 1944, moving to Durant in 1949. She was a homemaker, member of Eastern Star, enjoyed playing bridge, canasta, bowling and loved music and dancing. She was of the Baptist faith. She married Chester Peter Jobe in August 1947, in Wewoka. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and sons Don McCollum and Bobby McCollum. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
