'Kenny' Jackson, 65 A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bratcher's Funeral Home Chapel in Denison, Texas, for Kenneth W. “Kenny” Jackson, 65, Durant, who died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at his residence. Horace Groff will officiate. He was born Monday, July 29, 1940, in Denison, Texas, to H.T. and Charlsie (McDaniel) Jackson. He married Oleta Cooper May 28, 1976, in Denison. He was a retired trucker and a member of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Denison Elks Lodge and loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys play or any type of sporting event. He enjoyed the History Channel also. He loved his Scotties, Bally and Shay, but especially Chevas. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters Lisa Spoon and husband Danny, Calera, Angie Hart and Matt Mills, Denison, Texas, Beth Parker and husband Kim, Mead, and Dana Clure, of the home; brother Eddie Jackson, Denison; stepmother Imogene, Denison; grandchildren Tara, Justin, Chance, Woodie, Casy, Linzie, Cesalie and Shayna; great-grandson Lane; special friends Sylvia White, Gordonville, Texas, and Judy Golhkle, Denton, Texas; and numerous other friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
