Charley Jones, 72

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at 
Mead Cemetery for Charley Jones, 72, Colbert, who 
died Monday, May 10, 1999, at Brentwood Nursing 
Center in Denison, Texas. The Rev. Bill Beal will 
officiate.

The son of George A. and Hettie Mae Collins Jones, 
he was born on July 9, 1926, in Bokchito. 

Jones was a construction worker and laborer, attended 
school at Mead and was of the Baptist faith. He spent 
his childhood in Bryan County and returned in 1995. 

Preceding him in death were his parents. 

Brown's Durant Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. 

Nephews will serve as pallbearers. 

Family hour is from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
