All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 25 Feb 2005 Delphita (Weaver) Jones, 29 Services for Delphita (Weaver) Jones, 29, of Durant, who passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005, in Ravia, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2005, at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Chaplin Charles Howard will officiate. Delphita was born January 24, 1976, in Sherman, Texas, to Larry and Lola Delphine (Pearce) Weaver. She attended school in Denison and finished in Durant after she moved to the area in 1992. Delphita loved to write poetry, and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed. Delphita was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Aba and Lola Pearce; and her paternal grandparents, Woodrow Wilson and Margie Lee Weaver. Survivors include her husband, Brandon Jones, Durant: parents, Larry and Delphine Weaver, Durant; brothers Larry Dale Weaver, Denison, and John Wilson Weaver and wife Jennifer, Durant; sister Lola Earley and husband Lee, Denison; nephew Tyler Earley, Denison; many other relatives and a host of friends. Family hour will be Friday, February 25, 2005, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma, with Ronnie Stearns, Chris Montemayor, Matthew Cowan, Eric Nancy, David Beach and Corey Roblyer serving as pallbearers.
