William V. (Bill) Jouret, 90, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on November 30, 2007. Bill was born in Jeannette, PA to Eugene Jouret and Emma D. Durantie-Jouret. Bill moved to Scottsdale from Durant, OK in 1959 with his wife Alpha and step-son Larry Self where he worked in Real Estate. Bill served in WWII, retiring from the Air Force, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and son, James V. Jouret. He is survived by his wife Alpha of 50 years; two daughters, Pam Rowisze and Cheryl White both of CA; step-son Larry Self of Medford, OR; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will miss the love and companionship their Papa Bill gave. We will all love and miss you Bill. A visitation will be held from 5-7pm Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., in Scottsdale. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service with Military Honors at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1028 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006 or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
