Troup Banner, Troup TX: January 21, 1937 (Date is publication date) 

S. Ben Kee Passed at Durant, Okla., Friday; Ill Only Short While.

S. Ben Kee, 43, brother of Mrs. Tom Birdwell and Clarence Kee of Troup 
died Friday afternoon at five-thirty o'clock in the Coaker Hospital at 
Durant, Oklahoma, where he had been carried the previous Saturday for an 
operation.

Funeral services were held at Durant, last Saturday and interment followed
in a local cemetery.

Mr. Kee was survived by his wife and one daughter.

Those from Troup who attended the last services were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Birdwell 
and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kee. They were joined by Mr. Lemuel Kee being a brother 
of the deceased.

Mrs. Z.C. Kee, mother of Ben Kee who lives in Troup, was unable to attend the 
funeral of her son.
