Kimbrough, 87 A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Coffey-Murray Chapel for Thelma E. Kimbrough, 87, Durant, who died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Kim McGehee will officiate. She was born Thursday, Dec. 20, 1917, in Cove, Ark., to Jim and Dora (Scott) Sweet. She married John Kimbrough in Bryan County Dec. 25, 1938. She was a member of the Bushnell Baptist Church. She loved to crochet, sing, cook, fish camp and travel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, three sisters and one grandson. She is survived by daughters Myrna Albert and husband Dale, Calera, and Marvetta Phelps and husband Benny, Calera; grandchildren Myles Albert and wife Sherri, Yukon, Myron Albert, Plano, Texas, Gina Anderson and husband Terry, Achille, Jason Phelps, Achille, and Rayford Phelps and wife Melissa, Achille; and great-grandchildren Grayson Albert, Yukon, and Whitney Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Trevan Phelps, Mallory Phelps, Shelbi Phelps and Jaron Phelps, all of Achille. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, with pallbearers Myles Albert, Myron Albert, Jason Phelps, Rayford Phelps, Tanner Anderson and Terry Anderson. Family hour is from 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, OK, P.O. Box 441.
