Durant Daily Democrat Tuesday, January 13, 2004 Ethel Kenedy, 93 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Ethel Kenedy, 93, Durant, who died today at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. ================== Durant Daily Democrat Wednesday, January 14, 2004 Ethel Kenedy, 93 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Coffey-Murray Funeral Chapel for Ethel Kenedy, 93, Durant, who died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. The Rev. Jack Ball will officiate. She was born Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1910, in Calvin, to Tom and Bertie Blaylock. She married Gussie Kenedy in August 1925, in Red Oak. She was a homemaker, a member of Faith Temple Church and enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Earnest Kenedy, James Kenedy and Bobby Jackson; brothers Monk, Paul and Woodrow Blaylock, and sister Ola Brown. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Cemetery. The family will received friends at the home of Mrs. Kenedy.
