Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Richard Edwards, pastor, of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lewis was born in Durant, Okla. He had been a Dumas resident since 1971. He worked for White Dirt Contractors as a heavy equipment operator for 20 years. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II. He married Mary Holland in 1967 at Texico, N.M. He was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 3956, Co-Pilot in the Dumas Pilot Club and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 9022. Survivors include his wife; three sons, David Lewis of Dumas, James Holland of Texico, N.M., and Robert Holland of Texline; three daughters, Glenda Craft of Chattanooga, Tenn., Marilyn Haley of Guymon, Okla., and Carolyn Cate of Clovis, N.M.; three brothers, Henry Lewis of Chico, Calif., S.N. Lewis of Big Springs and Raymon Lewis of San Angelo; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 1206 Durrett, Dumas. The family requests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E.
