Friday at the Church of Christ for Charles A. Lynn, 78, of 1501 N. 7th. Brother Eugene Grome will officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clyde Hubbard, Skeet Atkinson, J. O. Singleton, Chester Bentley, Joe Hall and J.B. Chivers. Lynn died Wednesday afternoon at Dallas following a three month's illness. He was born at Van Alstyne, Texas, on October 23, 1886. He married Verda Dillingham at Oakland on June 17, 1913. Lynn was a retired Justice of the Peace. He had lived here since 1923 moving from Madill. Survivors include; his wife, Verda; Two sons, Harold and Joe of Durant, a sister Mrs. Favis Milholland of Dallas; and five grandchildren. The body will lie in State at the Holmes Funeral Home until 3 p.m. Friday.
