Landtroop, 74 A graveside service was at 10 a.m. Saturday for Billy R. Landtroop, 74, Calera, who died Sept. 28, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Judge Farrell Hatch will officiate. He was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Sayre to Emmitt and Dollie Landtroop. Miss Lana has been his companion for the last 19 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, the National Guard, was Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler and Founder and loved to garden. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Miss Lana, Calera; sons Steve Landtroop and wife Sue, McKinney, Texas; step-children Robert McDaniel and wife Melody, Napa Valley, Calif., Russell McDaniel and wife Kim, New Diana, Texas, Robin Newton and husband Doug, Denison, Texas, and Regina Pruitt and husband Les, Denison; grandchildren Jason Pruitt, Chelsea Pruitt, Joshua Newton, Chandler Newton, Lauren McDaniel, Terry McDaniel, Patrick McDaniel and Kylie McDaniel. Family night will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Calera. Burial will be Garden of Memories Cemetery, Colbert, with pallbearers Steve Landtroop, Les Pruitt, Jason Pruitt, Russell McDaniel, Terry McDaniel, Doug Newton, Chandler Newton and Joshua Newton.
