Survivors omitted. Thursday, December 4, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Theodore F. McFadden, 78 Theodore Frank McFadden, 78, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Friendly Acres Retirement Community, Newton, Kan. He was born Aug. 4, 1925, to Frank D. and Vivian (Rundell) McFadden in Stafford County, Kan. He moved with his family to Montezuma, Kan., when he was about two months old in 1925. He married Bertha Mary Foster June 15, 1945, at Satanta, Kan. He served his country in the Merchant Marines. A farmer and machinist, he retired in 2000 and moved from Montezuma to Newton. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Montezuma. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerald McFadden, and sisters Elsa Huffman and Betty Lou Schmidt. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the United Methodist Church, Montezuma, with Rev. Gene Eshleman presiding. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery, south of Montezuma.
