Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Robison and Donny Mason officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery by Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Mason was born Jan. 12, 1905, in Durant on the family farm. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Donald H. Mason and wife, Wanda, of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Esther Mason of Roswell, N.M.; five grandchildren, Betsy Mason Mayse and husband, Mike, Marilyn Mason Standefer and husband, Mike, Donny Mason and wife, Lisa, Louann Mason Bartlett and husband, David, and Joy Leah Leiding and husband, Scott; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Durant; Palliative Hospice of Durant; or Kings Daughters and Sons Nursing Home of Durant. Amarillo Globe-News, May 2, 2002
