McKinney, 82, died Friday, May 7, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Dunn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the family plot at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. McKinney was born in Kemp, Okla., and had lived in the area since childhood. He was an employee of Southern Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 1977. His wife, Leona McKinney, died in 1992. Survivors include four sons, Roy McKinney, Kenneth McKinney and Jerry McKinney, all of Tucumcari, and Jimmie McKinney of Bloomfield, N.M.; two daughters, Beatrice Willson and Elinora Perez, both of Tucumcari; five brothers, Bob Turnbeaugh of Tucumcari, Bill Turnbough of Pahrump, Nev., John Henry McKinney and Lindel McKinney, both of Doniphan, Mo., and Mansel McKinney of St. Louis; four sisters, Lois Comfort of Joplin, Mo., and Norma Dudley, Thelma Brown and Faye Darnell, all of Doniphan; 19 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. today until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
