Helen Ruth McGuire

QUANAH - Helen Ruth McGuire, 49, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ with Lyndal 
Werner officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-
Jackson Funeral Home.

Mrs. McGuire was born in Caddo, Okla. She had lived in Quanah since 1953, 
moving from Caddo.

She married Jon McGuire in 1972 at Quanah.

Mrs. McGuire was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Belinda King and Heather 
Dawn McGuire, both of Quanah, and Tammy Weldon of Houma, La.; six sisters, 
Jodie Wilks of Kirkland, Mary Evelyn Dorr, Vada May Taylor and Barbara Ann 
Alexander, all of Durant, Okla., Peggy Sue Elder of Quanah and Loretta 
Joan McWhorter of Leeds, Ala.; a brother, Bill Lorance of Quanah; and 
seven grandchildren.
