All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Democrat Faye Mitchell, 81 Graveside services for Faye Mitchell, 81, Bokchito, who passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at Kings Daughters and Sons Nursing Home, are scheduled for Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Bokchito Cemetery at 11 a.m. Rev. Fred Waldrep will officiate. Faye was born in Bennington, Oklahoma, April 21, 1923, to Tom and Ollie Guyer (Jackson) May. She attended Bennington Schools and retired from Texas Instruments. Faye married Grig Mitchell in 1959. She loved flowers, gardening and her dogs. Faye was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Jordan; her second husband Grig Mitchell; three sisters, AnnaLee, Odesa and Vada; and two brothers, Boots and Thelmer. She is survived by her son Luther Jordan and wife Brenda of Bokchito; son L.D. Cook of Denison, Texas; son Don Ed Cook and wife Dona of Mead; daughter Sherion Andres and husband Berry of Segoville, Texas; son Terry Mankey of Denison; son James Jordan of Bokchito; sister Linda Grant of Atoka; brother Paul Mutt May of Bokchito; granddaughter Debra Kenyon and husband Clayton of Caney; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Interment is in Bokchito Cemetery. Family hour is today from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
