All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Democrat James Malaney, 83 Services for James Malaney, 83, Cartwright, who passed away Friday, November 26, 2004, at his residence, will be held at the Highland Cemetery Chapel, Monday, November 29, 2004, at 2 p.m. Jim Hodson will officiate James was born April 16, 1921, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to J.F. and Rosella (Battertton) Malaney. He was married to Betty Stinson. James was a self- employed commercial painter. He has lived in the Durant area since his retirement in 1962. James will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty; son Dusty; and brothers George, Mack, Dale and Fred. James is survived his sister Verdie; sister-in-law Annie Malaney; granddaughter Amanda Malaney; and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Family hour will be today from 2 - 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
