Father Norbert Karava will officiate. The son of Floyd Francis and Mary (Mitch) Miller, he was born on Sept. 1, 1922, in Woodward. Miller was a retired distributor for Coors Distributing; member of St. William's Catholic Church; president of the Durant Chamber of Commerce in 1976; past president of the Oklahoma Malt Beverage Association and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was instrumental in the construction of the peanut monument at city hall. Olen was a graduate of Oklahoma City University. He was a second grade lieutenant in the U.S. Navy where he was a flight instructor during World War II at Pensacola, Fla. Miller married Therese Cecelia Steichen at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral in Oklahoma City on Aug. 5, 1950. Preceding him in death were his wife, Therese C. Miller in 1996; daughter, Carolyn Hartwell in 1993; son, John Francis Miller in 1991, and his parents. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Durant.
