Sunday, November 16, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Fred Eugene Miller A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Caddo United Methodist Church for Fred Eugene Miller, 90, Caddo, who died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Bonham, Texas. The Revs. Terry Thomas and Gene Teel will officiate. He was born Wednesday, July 2, 1913, in Douglas, Texas, to James Daniel and Susan (Nevins) Miller. He moved to Bryan County from Waxahachie, Texas, in 1929. He married Irma Lee Moran July 18, 1937, in Bryan County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of Caddo United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985; parents; brothers Roy and Ed Miller, and sisters Florence Miller and Inez Smith. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Caddo, with pallbearers Dan Hull, James Smith, Eddy Miller, Jim Miller, Phil Miller, Danny Miller, Phillip Moran, Roy Moran and Edwin Moran. Honorary pallbearers will be Cass Miller, Roger Holford, Adrian Hicks, Aaron Hicks, Avery Hicks, Jessie Hicks, Peter Hicks, Paul Joines, Joe Joines, Kenneth Rowland, David Szenasi and Harlan Hyde. Family hour is 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
