All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::North Deep Red Cemetery--Tillman County OK Manning, Inez Faulkner Inez Faulkner Manning, 87, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: 2 p.m. Sunday at the North Deep Red Cemetery in Tillman County, Okla. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Inez was born Feb. 28, 1918, in Durant, Okla., the firstborn child of Evie and Hampton Bradley Loftis. She moved with her husband, Jack Faulkner, to Fort Worth in 1940. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother and completed nursing school after her daughters were grown. She worked at several local hospitals and retired in 1977 from Four Seasons Nursing Home. After retirement, she and Jack built their dream home and moved to Fairview, Ark. Inez and Jack were married 48 years until his death in 1982. Inez later married a long time friend, Bob Manning and they resided in Granbury until her death. Mrs. Manning was an active member of First Baptist Church in Granbury. She was a devout Christian and had a lifelong relationship with God. Inez was known for her cooking skills and especially her yeast rolls. She was a talented seamstress who designed many of her daughters' clothes and also enjoyed crochet. She had a quick wit and took pleasure in making people chuckle. She was preceded in death by her soulmate, Jack Faulkner, and a precious grandson, Jay Milner. The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to nurse, Sandy Haberkamp, and to the staff of Courtyards at Lake Granbury. Survivors: Husband of 22 years, Robert Manning; two daughters and their husbands, Margaret and Jim Milner of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Barbara and Donny Atkins of Granbury; sisters, Margaret Fry of Frederick, Okla., Doris Martes of Oregon; brother, H.B. Loftis and wife, Jo, of Denver; grandsons, Dr. Brent Milner and wife, Lisa, of Sheridan, Wyo., Brian Howell and wife Deanna, and Travis Howell, all of Fort Worth; and one great granddaughter and three great grandsons. Inez also embraced as her own extended family, Robert Manning's daughters, Carolyn Taylor and Barbara Osburn, their children Gary and Lindy Snider, Wayne Snider, David and Lori Osburn, Debbie Osburn, Stacey Shehan and four great grandsons, and three great granddaughters, all of Granbury.
