Durant Daily Democrat Monday, December 29, 2003 Pearl (Stricklen) Moore, 101 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Pearl (Stricklen) Moore, 101, Durant, who died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. ========== Durant Daily Democrat Tuesday, December 30, 2003 Pearl (Stricklen) Moore, 101 A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coffey-Murray Chapel for Pearl (Stricklen) Moore, 101, Durant, who died Sunday, Dec 28, 2003, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. The Rev. Kerry Groce will officiate. She was born Oct. 26, 1902, in Umpire, Ark., to William Jasper and Bessie May (Hendrix) Strasner. She was a member of the First church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed fishing and loved being outdoors. She enjoyed her flower garden, doing yard work and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Egbert Brown, Fate Stricklen and Johnny L. Moore; son George L. Brown; brothers Oliver Dale, Joseph Jefferson, Travis and Howell Strasner, and sisters Winnie Dalrimple and Lora Champers. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Billy Roper, Steven Roper, Danny Brown, Larry Brown, Kirk Brown and Mitchell Brown. Family hour is 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
