Friday, November 14, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Noble Morris, 84 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Noble Morris, 84, Caddo, who died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at his residence. ======== Sunday, November 16, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Noble Morris, 84 Noble Morris, age 84, born July 30, 1919, to Hugh Leslie and Zora Esther Morris in Weleeka, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003. With love, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends surrounded him. He served the Lord as pastor of several churches in the Bryan County area, and will be remembered for his work as an electrician and carpenter. He loved gardening, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Robinson Baptist Church. He married Bonnie Sue Copeland Jan. 11, 1950, and together they enjoyed almost 54 years of marriage. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother H. T. ‘Tommy’ Morris, infant brother Leslie Garland, brother Andrew Morris, sister Evelyn Mitchell and sister-in-law Louise ‘Pat’ Morris. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Robinson Baptist Church, east of Caddo. Officiating will be Bro. Charles Howard, Bro. Bud Jenkins and grandson Pastor Jared McIntire. Burial will be at Caddo Cemetery. Family hour is 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
