Niblett II, 46 A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery in Durant for Carl T. Niblett II, 46, Branson, Mo., who died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, in Branson. The Rev. Fred Reece will officiate. The son of Carl Thomas and Joyce Belle (Morgan) Niblett, he was born Sept. 1, 1957, in Salisbury, MD. Niblett was a stage manager for Branson Music Entertainment. He was of the Methodist faith, and loved to travel and listen to country and western music. He also collected country and western memorabilia, including Roy Acuff’s boots and Johnny Cash’s man in black suit. Carl was involved in the music industry in Nashville, Tenn., and Branson. He worked and was friends with such entertainers as Jean Shepard, Leona Williams, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, Merle Haggard, Jan Howard, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelis Pretty Miss Norma Jean, Wanda Jackson, Kitty Wells, Johnny Wright and a host of others. Niblett married Sally Short. Preceding him in death was his father.
