Survivors omitted. Monday, December 1, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Lonnie ‘Kirk’ Osborn, 49 Lonnie ‘Kirk’ Osborn, 49, a resident of Heath, Texas, for 20 years, went to meet his Lord Nov. 29, 2003. He was born July 12, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to John and Flo (Allen) Osborn. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rockwall, Texas. A part of Dallas Fire Department for 23 years, he was Second Driver on A-shift at Station 19 on the truck he loved. Always the outdoorsman, he was an Indian guide and on the board of Ducks Unlimited. He loved spending time with his family and especially hunting and fishing with his son. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Rockwall. Pastor Steve Swofford, Chaplain David Smith and Chaplain Denny Burris will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
