Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in San Jacinto United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerald, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Oakley was born in Bennington, Okla. and had been a resident of Amarillo since 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church. She married Dick Oakley in 1930 at Hedley. He died in 1971. Survivors include three daughters, Winnie Purser, Gwen Gandy and Lucille Day, all of Amarillo; two sons, Tony Oakley of Grants Pass, Ore., and Monte Oakley of Denton; two sisters, Thelma Sharp of Amarillo and June Gleaton of Katy; three brothers, Rev. Bobby Taylor of Lubbock, Troy Taylor of Boerne and Kenneth Taylor of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will be at 3715 Fleetwood. They request memorials be to Alzheimer's Association, Panhandle Chapter, 2200 W.
