Friday, August 29, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Esta Mae Pevehouse, 93 Esta Mae Pevehouse, 93, a long-time resident of Bennington and Blue, was received into the hands of the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003. A service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Bennington. The Revs. Anthony Williams and Jan Lee will officiate. Esta Mae was born Aug. 23, 1910 in Bennington to R.D. and Susie Cox. She married Frank Pevehouse on her birthday 72 years ago in 1931. The were not only a devoted married couple, they were ‘best friends.’ She will be missed so much. The biggest enjoyment was being with her family and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dee Cox, and grandsons Doug Pevehouse and Ronnie Redden. Burial will be in Old Church Cemetery with grandsons Steve Rich, Roger Redden, Scott Horner, Clint Horner and Dave Horner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Darren Titsworth, Dale Titsworth, Joe Lee, Dustin Davenport and Jay Swantner. Family hour is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
