She was born on January 4, 1918, in Durant, OK, to James T. and Lena (Austin) Midkiff. She was a librarian for Nimitz Junior High for many years. After Jimmie Jeanne's retirement, she surrounded herself with books, bridge clubs and outings with her family. In April, 2005, Jimmie Jeanne moved to Brighton Gardens in Tulsa. She became involved in bingo, crafts and the many social events there and the Brighton staff and residents gave her a new, active life. She leaves behind wonderful memories with her family, friends, the Brighton staff and her sitters, who all meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wade L. Pipkin, in 1956; a sister, Mary Lou McCollough; and a brother, Howard Midkiff. She is survived by: 3 daughters, Kerry Hamilton of Knowles, OK, Terry Buck of Tulsa and Janna Eberle, of Lexington, OK; a son, Wade Pipkin of Kilgore, TX; and 3 grandchildren, Brad Hamilton, Linsey Hamilton and Tim Eberle; and a great-grandchild, Maddie Eberle. She received her Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma and was a librarian for Nimitz Junior High for many years.
