Wednesday, September 3, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Alline Peters, 79 Services are pending with Brown's Funeral Service for Alline Peters, 79, Durant, who died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home. =========== Thursday, September 4, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Alline Blakney Peters, 79 A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel for Alline Blakney Peters, 79, Durant, who died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home. The Rev. Bob Lothenore will officiate. She was born June 29, 1924, in Caddo, to Will and Annie Missouri (Troxell) Blakney. She attended Caddo schools and was a housewife and homemaker. She married Claude L. Peters Sr. Sept. 11, 1945, in Durant. She left Caddo and lived in Tulsa for a number of years, then moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, where she was employed by E-Systems Electronics. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 4477 in Grand Prairie and her hobbies were quilting and doing crafts. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Durant. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Jerry Speers, Larry Speers, Eddie Wright, B. D. Mullins Jr., Bill Miller and Mario Illas. Family hour is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.
