The Rev. Larry Holder assisted by Jim Neeland officiated. The son of Clarence and Ruby (Tarpley) Pullen, he was born on Dec. 13, 1919 in Muskogee. Served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired as an oil jobber with Phillips 66. Pullen married Anna Lee Abbott on Sept. 20, 1942 in Durant. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or the charity of your choice.
