Pastor Aaron Veach will officiate. Mrs. Palmer, 88, of Central Point, died Monday (June 24, 2002) at home. She was born Aug. 14, 1913, in Pirtle, Okla., to Silas and Myrtle Link. In 1944, she married George Palmer, who died in 1982. Mrs. Palmer was an elementary school teacher and homemaker. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1986 from Keno. She was a member of Hope Christian Church in Central Point. Mrs. Palmer enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Troy, Central Point, and Robert L. Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Paula Palmer, Helena, Mont.; two brothers, Curtis Link, Seattle, and Richard F. Link, Denver; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas; a daughter, Virginia Hyde; two brothers and a sister. Arrangements: Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives and Crematory.
