Durant Daily Democrat Monday, February 16, 2004 Dorothy Park, 88 Services are pending with Brown’s Funeral Service for Dorothy Park, 88, Durant, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, Durant. =========== Durant Daily Democrat Thursday, February 19, 2004 Friday, February 20, 2004 Dorothy Luella (Colbert) Park, 88 A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Caddo’s Gethsemane Cemetery for Dorothy Luella (Colbert) Park, 88, Durant, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at King’s Daughters and Sons Nursing Home. Ed Hull will officiate. Park was born in Voca, March 31, 1915 to Richard Watt Colbert and Leona Brasheau Colbert and attended school in Blue. She worked as a professional housekeeper and was a room inspector for a Las Vegas hotel. She married Charley Park in Anadarko and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ, where she leaves a host of church friends, old friends and neighbors. Park loved to garden and was very adept with her crochet needles and sewing machine. She also loved to fish and many hours were spent on board games. She will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents; 11 siblings, husband; son Charles Duaine Park, died April 3, 2003 in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he had lived more than 30 years. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo.
