Maye Parker

MORTON - Maye Parker, 79, died Thursday, July 23, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of Morton with 
the Rev. Danny Jackson of the church officiating. Burial will be in Morton 
Memorial Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.

Mrs. Parker was born in Bokchito, Okla., and moved to the Morton area in 
1947. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.

She married Owen Parker in 1934 at Banty, Okla. He died in 1985. She also 
was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Parker, in 1991.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Parker of Morton; a daughter, Donna Lemons 
of Morton; a sister, Juanita Switzer of Bokchito; a brother, L.V. Keenon 
of Checotah, Okla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to American Heart Association, 3403 73rd, 
Suite 1, Lubbock, Texas, 79423; or American Cancer Society, 2411 73rd., 
Lubbock, Texas, 79423.
