::Northlawn Memorial Gardens--Dumas TX

Helen L. Porter

DUMAS - Helen L. Porter, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial 
Chapel with the Rev. Richard "Rick" Weightman of Bible Baptist Church 
officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Porter was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She married John O. 
Porter on Sept. 26, 1931, in Durant, Okla. She was a homemaker. She had 
been a Dumas resident since 1945, moving from Durant.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David Porter and Joe Porter.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Melba Morris of Dumas; a son, 
Gerald Porter of Amarillo; a sister, Norma Argo of Durant; seven 
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation 
Center, 302 E. Second Ave., Dumas, TX 79029 or Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 
Second Ave., Dumas, TX 79029.

The family will be at 818 Zauk.
