Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- Roscoe M. ROBINSON Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 at L.P. Coffey Memorial Chapel for Roscoe M. ROBINSON, 97, of Durant. The Rev. Carrell Hooper will officiate. Mr. Robinson died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995. The son of Freddie and Arizona Kimbell (Johnson) ROBINSON, he was born Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1898, in Indian Territory. He was a farmer and cattleman. He lived most of his life in and around Durant. He once served as deputy sheriff under Bill Templeton. He married Willie Belle RICHIE on Feb. 19, 1919, in Bryan County. He was preceeded in death by his wife on Nov. 11, 1990, his parents, one daughter, Tommy Jean GEORGE, two brothers, George and Noel ROBINSON, and three sisters, Gertrude JOHNSON, Polly TEAGUE, and Nell BERRY. Survivors include four sons, Hanford ROBINSON of Durant, O'Neal ROBINSON of Blackpool, England, Roy ROBINSON and wife, Georgia, of Eaglepoint, Ore., and Doyle ROBINSON and wife, Joan, of Cordova, Neb.; daughter Lucille LONG of Del City; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, including two granddaughters that he and Mrs. ROBINSON raised, Jerri DAVIS of Fort Smith, Ark., and Faye TRENT of Sherman, Texas. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Family hour is today from 6 to 7 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. COFFEY FUNERAL HOME- 121 N. Fifth, Durant.
