Ragle, 72, Durant, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. ============= Sunday, November 30, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Bill Ragle, 72 A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel for Bill Ragle, 72, Durant, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. The Rev. Kermit C. Montgomery will officiate. He was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Denison, to J. Robert and Myrtle Josephine (Hardesty) Ragle. He attended school in Durant, and also attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1950 to 1954, during the Korean Conflict. He married Claudine Bailey, Oct. 27, 1958, in Durant. He owned Ragle Oil and Gas and numerous other small businesses in the Texoma area. He also owned the Wild Bill Western Museum and the Ramada International Airport Inn, Houston, Texas. He enjoyed collecting western memorabilia and was of the Baptist faith. He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Dennis Roy Ragle and brother Robert Jerome Ragle. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Calera, with pallbearers Brandon Toney, Geroge Bailey, Lynn Dillingham, Ben Ragle, William Ragle, Jamy Ragle and Jeffery Harp. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Welborn, Dewayne Welborn, Roy Sterner and Claude Bailey. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
