Raymond Elmer Rankin, 79 

Graveside Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in 
Highland Cemetery for Raymond Elmer Rankin, 79, of Durant 
who died Monday, Dec. 21,1998, in Medical Center of 
Southeastern Oklahoma The Rev. Dan McLemore will officiate.

The  son of Arthur Eugene Rankin and Tamas Augast Bridges 
Rankin, he was born July 19, 1919, in Frankston, Texas.

He was a retired fireman.

He married Venita Louise Allen on Dec. 3, 1953, in Ardmore.
