All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Winnie Ree Shipman, 74 Durant Daily Democrat June 25, 2003 A service was be at 2 p.m. today at Coffey-Murray Chapel for Winnie Ree Shipman, 74, Bokchito, who died Saturday, June 21, 2003, in Durant. The Rev. Randy Lewis officiated. She was born Monday, Dec. 31, 1928, in Wade, to Benjamin Franklin and Myrtie Mae (Purkey) Shipman. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family. All who knew her will miss her. She enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch, plastic crafts and games. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Loyd Davis, Norman Davis, Herman Shipman and twin brother Willie Lee Shipman; and sisters Lois Davis, Mary Janice Shipman and Lorene Howard Fetty. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law Wilma and Ovoyde Boydstun, Blue, and Ruby and Collin Bowen, Durant; nieces Ramona Martin and husband Colin, Simpson, Ill., Peggy Choate and husband Roy, Placerville, Calif., Vicky Gudenrath and husband Bryant, Edmond, Lynette Molczyk and husband Gary, Columbus, Neb., Barbara Thompson and husband Davis, Fort Worth, Texas, Debra Lanell Bowen, Duluth, Minn., Susan Cook and husband Randal, Bennington, and Phyllis Jean McHoney, Kearns, Utah; and nephews Brent Bowen, Omaha Neb., Jerry Boydstun and wife Renee, Fort Worth, and Billy Boydstun and wife Faye, Caddo. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Colin Martin, Jerry Boydstun, Billy Boydstun, Steve Pokorny, Roy Boatner, Muggs Culbreath, Chris Boydstun and Mark Boydstun.
