Sunday, October 19, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Dewey Lane Shipman, 59 A service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Pampa, Texas, for Dewey ‘Lane’ Shipman, 59, Pampa, who died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, in Pampa. The Rev. Michael Erickson will officiate. Shipman was born July 22, 1944, in Durant. He had been a resident of Pampa 27 years. He married Donna Freeman Oct. 1, 1966, in Clayton, N.M. He worked for Pioneer Natural Gas 27 years and owned and operated Eagle Radiator Shop since 1994. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Shipman was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Preceding him in death were his parents James and Kate Shipman and twin brother Blaine Shipman.
