Family hour will be 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home. Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ========== Durant Daily Democrat Thursday, December 18, 2003 Alice Estell Shoopman, 62 A service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Colbert First Baptist Church for Alice Estell Shoopman, 62, Calera, who died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Kindred Hospital, Oklahoma City. The Revs. Les Roberts will officiate. She was born Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1941, in Caddo, to Henry T. and Ruby G. (Wheeler) Lane. She married Merle Shoopman, Nov. 9, 1956, in Riverside, Calif. She was a member of the Colbert First Baptist Church. She was a very artistic person. She enjoyed painting, crafts and many hobbies. She truly loved music. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother William Lane and sister Christine Williamson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Calera, with pallbearers Mark Clinton, Patrick Barkley, David Ray Blakely, Eddie Harbin, Mike Jackson and Shane Lewis. Family hour is 7-8 p.m today at the funeral home.
