September 28, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Jack Lee Sparger, 71 A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery, Durant, for Jack Lee Sparger, 71, Norman, who died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, in Norman. He was born April 25, 1932, in Durant, to Harry D. and Birdie Lee (Moody) Sparger. He grew up in Durant and graduated from Durant High School in 1950. He moved to Norman from Ada in 1968. He worked six years as a clerk/typist for the Severe Storms Laboratory. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the First Christian Chuch. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Monday at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel, Norman.
