Memorial service 7:00 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 20, Southpark Baptist Church, OKC. 1:00 P.M. Graveside service in Bokchito, OK. He was born in Ryan OK, April 30, 1922. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and played on their championship basketball team. He received his masters in Education from the University of Oklahoma. During World War II he he received the silver star for heroism in combat. In 1986 he was honored as a distinguished alumnus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was a public school educator, basketball coach, and administrator.He was a vice-president of the Economy Company and recently worked for EMC Paradigm Publishers. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Kiwanis. He was a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Southpark Baptist Churchand was a founding member of Olivet Baptist Church in Norman. Bill is survived by his wife, Joe Ann (Riddle) Seeds of Bokchito, His children Jeannine Tate and husband, Jim of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, Suzanne Price and husband Brad of Norman, Mike Seeds and wife Garnett of Bethany; grandchildren, Jackie and Jeff Tate, Matthew and Nathan Price, Jimmy Seeds and wife Priscilla, and Micheal Seeds; great grandchildren,Dylan and Cody, sons of Jimmy and Priscilla Seeds; brothers and sisters,Clorice Davis,Loyal Seeds, Rounder Seeds, Peggy Erfly, and Jimmy Riddle. Arrangements are being handled by Resthaven Funeral Home, OKC.
